Downtown Milwaukee Wedding at the Red Lion Pub | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Heather, Eric and a little taste of "across the pond"

In the bustling city of Milwaukee, there is a hidden gem- a unique and refined, British-themed alehouse. The Red Lion Pub! Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee- in the East town neighborhood, this business brings the UK to you- so you don't have to travel across the pond! The Red Lion Pub is the perfect location for urban, industrial weddings! Here, on the snowy first day of November , Heather and Eric arrived to a chorus of camera clicks from this Milwaukee wedding photographer to celebrate the best day of their lives!

The morning was all celebration and laughter! Surrounded by sweet serenades thanks to Pandora and Spotify, the bride and her bridesmaids par-took on halloween candy from the day before (hellooooo recess cup's). Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen shared a fresh pour for the bar at the Red Lion Pub! And when the last boutonniere was pinned and the last curl was hair sprayed, the time had arrived to head to the ceremony venue.

In a true Cinderella style, Heather slipped on her confetti printed Toms, before she headed to the alter. Escorted by her dad down the aisle of a elegant white tent aisle, Heather, in her classic lace gown, absolutely glowed. And her groom's eyes sparkled as he saw his wife-to-be for the first time.

Under the expert guidance of the wedding coordinator, Sandy of the Red Lion Pub, the talented vendors painted a truly elegant scene. The romance of the flower arrangements by Flowers for Dreams, and the thoughtful personalized mason jar mugs and hot chocolate station made for the coziest of weddings. Even within the tented ceremony, the bride and groom laid out wooly red blankets for their guests to cuddle up with. Each of these elements truly came together to create the warmest ceremony, despite the fresh snow outside!

Surrounded by twinkle lights, heat lamps, and a pub full of British bites, the festivities carried on well into the night. The toasts from the best friend of the bride and the groom's college roommate were heartfelt and full of laughter (and the cutest part- this maid of honor and best man are married to each other!) And celebration was added on top of celebration when the EVERY ROOM joined in on a march to the beat ff I Would Walk 500 Miles by the Proclaimers! You best believe that my assistant and I jumped right into that marching circle! After we stomped around the room, screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs a few dozen times, the party got turned up to an 11 by the amazing dance worthy music that continued to roll out!

As the party came to a close, the crows cheered and the bride and her groom dance (literally) into the night through a tunnel of glittering sparklers. Surrounded by friends and family, their life together as husband and wife began.

I am so thrilled I was able to document Heather and Eric's big day, and I can't wait to see where life takes them! Check out some of moments from their epic and tender downtown Milwaukee wedding and let me know which moments you love best in the comments!
