Chelsey, Eric, and an atrium wedding
When Chelsey first laid eyes on Eric, she had no idea what a beautiful adventure that was about to begin. Eric lived in Australia and flew Chelsey out (and unbeknownst to her, an engagement ring) for a visit. During a sweet walk in Hyde Park, Eric asked Chelsey to be his bride. And on a radiant late summer day, their family and friends gather in front of the camera of this thrilled Oshkosh wedding photographer to celebrate the moment they finally said, "I do!"
With the final clips of the grooms suspenders, and the buttoning of the bride's white, dreamy dress, the ceremony was ready to begin! Tall, colored sunlight streamed cheerily through the stained glass windows of Trinity Episcopal Church as Eric first laid eyes on his bride-to-be. Chelsey, in her sophisticated gown and heart stopping lace, absolutely glowed. And her groom beamed as she made her way towards the alter.
Wedding Photography Oshkosh Asylum Point
From a walk to the water's edge at one of the cities' most stunning views, to a pit stop at Bar 430 for a quick shot or two (check those wedding party bar photos below!), the wedding festivities had officially begun. The wind swept ever so gently across the water, creating an almost painterly background for the bride and groom's portraits - a perfect contrast for this Urban wedding.
Waterfront Atrium Hall
The vivid, greenery and elaborate flowers of House of Flowers, paired so sweetly with Becket's crisp, white washed atmosphere. Tablescapes, overflowing with blooms, were decorated with warm candles, and modern black pots with branches. Handmade moss table numbers swayed gently from the branches, creating a chic yet down-to-earth reception. Chelsey's seemed to float through this magical scene in her gown from Edith's.
Under the glow of a cascading chandelier, the newlyweds tenderly shared their first dance. As their closest friends and family gathered round, the evening grew dark but the laughter boomed. The walls the atrium echoed with joy that spilled out into the evening air and met with the lapping waves of the Fox River. My team was honored to celebrate Chelsey and Eric's sweet wedding, and while life has already taken them on so many adventures since that day, I can't wait to see more!
