When Nick first laid eyes on Haley, he knew that he had to know more. When Nick began dropping hints to Haley's sister about his interest in Haley, he had no idea what a beautiful adventure was about to begin. On their first date, there was not a second of awkward silence. The date went so well in fact that they extended it by walking around their al ma mater, wondering how they hadn't met sooner since they were both athletes at the same university. Early on Nick surprised Haley with a date on a tiny plane with a pilot! And on a cozy fall day (just a few months after their spring time engagement session), their family and friends gathered in front of the cameras of these thrilled Stevens Point Wedding Photographers to celebrate the moment they finally said, "I do."
2020 will always be known as the year of Covid-19. But to Haley & Nick, their close family and friends, and us, it's known as much more than that. Even when their original wedding plans were forced to change and their venue was no able to hold their wedding - Haley & Nick pivoted with so much elegance and grace. Because love wasn't cancelled. With the support of loved ones, their wedding day turned into something beyond what they even expected! The Stevens Point Country Club swooped in and created a dream wedding for the two. We pivoted with Haley & Nick and rain or shine, we were determined to sprinkle in some magic to their celebration.

We're firm believers in the saying that "rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck". More-so, the cozy vibes that rain brings makes the day that much more intimate. So please note this down- rain on a wedding day is MAGICAL. Haley & Nick can attest to that!!
With the glow of Edison string lights overhead, umbrellas in hand, and a soft drizzle pattering down, Haley met Nick on the back porch for their first look. Surrounding by miles of stunningly manicured green, the pair soaked in each other on this day of pure bliss. The bride glowed in her romantic, low-back gown as her hair cascaded down elegantly and the groom stood proud in his trim navy suit. Soon after, the bride's father accompanied her down the aisle. In front of floor to ceiling windows, the Haley & Nick promised themselves to each other, forever.
Under the expert guidance of their wedding coordinator, Jenny of the Stevens Point Country Club, the expert vendors created the coziest of weddings. Individually packaged s'more kits and a "Welcome" sign handmaid by the groom, invited guests in to relax and enjoy the warmth. Romantic, blooming hydrangea bouquets and tall pillar candles brought together the intimacy of the day that much more. Sweet cupcakes from Main Grain Bakery sat snuggly in a tower of rustic and chic wooden crates.

Inside, surrounded by the flickering candle light and with the sounds of laughter wafting through the room, the festivities carried on well into the night. As we said our goodbyes and stepped into the gentle patters of the evening rain, we couldn't help but feel absolutely and completely content - because pandemic or not (socially distanced) love wasn't canceled:)
